We are very pleased to announce that Dr. Arash Famili will be joining Upper Bayview Dental as a full-time partner beginning November 2, 2026.
Dr. Raymond Zhu and the entire Upper Bayview Dental team are excited to welcome Dr. Famili to the practice and look forward to introducing him to our patients and the Newmarket community.
Meet Dr. Arash Famili
Dr. Famili graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at McGill University in 1999. Following graduation, he completed a one-year multidisciplinary hospital-based residency at Montreal General Hospital, where he gained valuable experience treating complex restorative cases and medically compromised patients.
Since then, Dr. Famili has built extensive experience in family dentistry, caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds.
At the centre of his approach is a simple priority: his patients come first.
Dr. Famili believes strongly in prevention and in helping patients maintain their oral health before more complicated dental problems have an opportunity to develop. He also places great importance on creating a comfortable, relaxed environment where patients feel heard and understood.
By taking the time to get to know each patient and their individual needs, Dr. Famili strives to provide thoughtful, personalized dental care and treatment solutions.
“It’s what I love about being a dentist and it makes family dentistry fun – meeting new people, getting to know our patients and connecting with the community as a whole.”
A New Chapter at Upper Bayview Dental
We are excited to have Dr. Famili begin this next chapter of his career at Upper Bayview Dental in Newmarket.
His patient-focused philosophy and commitment to family dentistry align closely with the approach Dr. Zhu and our team have always taken with our patients.
We also recognize that many of Dr. Famili’s existing patients may be looking for him following his move. We are pleased to welcome both his current patients and new patients to his new home at Upper Bayview Dental.
Beginning November 2, patients can book appointments with Dr. Arash Famili at our Newmarket dental office.
We look forward to welcoming Dr. Famili to the team and introducing him to all of you.
